Great vibe, good food, service...not so much.

I've been going to Tim's for awhile, loved the Jianguomen Wai spot, followed them up to Super Bar Street, and still make a point to get over to the location on Dongdaqiao when I can.

The decor is great (really feels like a road house/barbecue joint) and the food, generally speaking, is always good and a good value. To use an IT metaphor, the hardware is all in place.

It's a software problem. Once the food is served, you're forgotten. Need a napkin? want to ask a question? want a refill? place is on fire?...it can be tough to get anyone to notice. It's a small place, how hard is it to stop by a table once in a Blue Moon and offer a quick "Zenmeyang?"

I'm mentioning this because in the past Tim's has always had decent service, so I'm a little shocked that the last few times I've been there the service has been so disappointing. Hopefully, the problem can be fixed because I do really like the place, but with so many choices available why ruin a good dinner by having to deal with mediocre service?
