Went to Casa Latina tonight and really, it's one of the few reasons to go to Solana anymore. The food was excellent though I, like an earlier reviewer, wondered about the lack of salsa. The owner stopped by the table to chat and check on the food -- a nice touch that more restaurants in Beijing might want to take note of. We had a soup (spicy, well seasoned and very good), chicken with mole sauce (good sauce!), enchiladas (nice amount of heat), and nachos which...were as authentic as a nacho can be I guess. The owner mentioned he's switching over the menu, taking off the Cuban items and replacing them with more Mexican food due to customer demands. The atmosphere is cozy without seeming small and the service attentive without being overbearing. A little on the pricey side, but worth it. Definitely one of the best Latin American restaurants we have been to in Beijing.
