Worth a visit now for the RMB 9 avocados - they may not be the big and fat Haas variety, but this time of year, these Yunnan-grown delights are as fresh as can be and perfect summer time food.
Otherwise, this place gets points for its general orderliness and relatively non-pushy vendors (as compared to other food markets around town). But agree with the other poster, the produce and meat are pricier than most markets.
