good food, good prices

Most Chinese restaurants ignore interior design and ambiance, but this spot does a good job of offering you a nice setting to enjoy great food. They have all your favorite Sichuan specialities and its hard to avoid ordering their excellent shui zhu yu, which comes out in a massive bowl filled with fishy goodness. While it may not have the look of your local grungy Sichuan restaurant, the nice thing is that prices here won't be much higher than those kind of spots. Plus, consistency over time and across the chain (which is hard considering all the branches) is great, meaning if you're looking for a familiar spot to dine in any mall in the city, just look for Mala Youhuo.
