Too hard to choose

It’s very hard to choose when faced with Comptoir’s array of pastries of a morning. The almond croissants are to die for (and this coming from someone who doesn’t particularly like almond flavoured foods…) but the croissants are excellent too in their buttery, chewy, lightness. Then there are the brioche which I bring home to have with slivers of hard, cold, salted butter. But then there are my other favourites, the fruity, custardy danishes… I know! I’ll just buy them all…
