I would have to disagree with the description above about Bla Bla Bar - even if you have a test the next day, what better way to practice your spoken Chinese than to drink it up with Chinese friends here, it is not only a place for foreign students at BLCU but also for them to make friends with Chinese students. Unlike those noisy and sweaty bards in da Wu, you can actually have a conversation here. Bla Bla has been a rite of passage for foreign students learning Chinese and then graduating on to their careers, it has a left legacy in beijing.
