The Dongwuyuan wholesale market is an excellent place to rebuild your wardrobe after having to slim down your possessions in order to move to China. Anything clothing item you could possibly wish for is sold here. The prices are moderately low already, and since this is not a hot tourist spot sometimes haggling is looked down on. Some of the shop keepers can be quite rude and unfriendly, but overall the experience and the purchases are worth dealing with a few cranks. Be sure to look over all items very carefully before you purchase them and try to convince the shop keepers to allow you to try them on. They will most likely tell you no, but it is worth the try.
