Average and overpriced

This grill is yet another overpriced restaurant that bills itself as a steakhouse. the quality of the beef, although ok, is not great and does not live up to the area in which it is located. The menu boasts of "Dry Aged" meat but I think it's a sham. I couldn't tell. Of the two cuts I tried, both did not possess dry aged characteristics. (Dry aged steaks normally have a much richer and intense meat taste.)

The wine is almost worse. The low-end is very low. The high-end is ok but again, far over
priced.

I never thought that I would find a great steak house in Beijing so when heard of The Meat & Wine company I was excited. Unfortunately, they fall short of the mark.

I recommend going to one of the international hotels instead. The cuts of meat offered are far better and in some cases, much cheaper.
