Review of At Cafe
With the gentrification of 798 there's been a proliferation of very ordinary, expensive cafes and restaurants in the area. At Cafe was one of first cafes in the art zone, and the food has remained consistently good. Not great, but good.
The sandwiches with fries make a hearty lunch and the coffee is very drinkable. The decor, which retains some traces of the space's original workshop feel, has a suitably hip industrial-turned-art-space vibe.
As elsewhere at 798, however, prices here have been steadily rising, so lunch at AT Cafe is now fairly pricey.
