My friend who was not so drunk almost tripped on a electric outlet that was popped up in the middle of the floor told the security guard and someone who looked like a boss. As "TIC" the reply's from both seems like they could care less about it and why should they care if someone broke his neck. I'm sure he will never return after this experience and I'm sure no one will care about it.
the manager claims the place holds 250 people? wow, I think that is crazy, I'd be surprised if 100 people could be comfortable in it. Maybe after the new section is done he can squeeze in 100 more, but I would not be in the place if they think that is comfortable.
for the rest of the wait staff, they do seem to hover a bit too much and could use a supply of Valiums to mellow out to match the layout of the place.
I guess owners and managers will always reply and keep burying themselves. I do remember the original china doll boss and how she said the venue would last forever and how it would always be the hot spot in town as well. We all know how long that place lasted and how bad the 2nd incarnation is (any bet's to how soon they shut down?).
Keep your mouth shut and provide good service sounds like the best plan to me.
try not to have patrons break their leg might be good advice as well, but maybe that is asking too much.
Oh, and I went back a week or so later and the same electric outlet was still sticking up. I'm sure it's the managers place to hang out and be cool with his laptop during the day and he does not want to bend over to open/close it each day.
as we say at fine establishments in my country "have a nice day"
