The first time I went to this place my expectations were low. Perhaps it’s the unimaginative name (“Peking Duck Restaurant”) or the fact that foreign customers usually outnumber the locals (at least in the outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant). On my first visit I was pleasantly surprised however. The duck was tasty, juicy and not too oily, and the other dishes above average. The place was also moderately priced.
On my second visit I was a little less impressed, but perhaps this was because my expectations weren't so low.
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced Peking duck restaurant with pleasant décor and decent service, this place is recommended.
It’s best to call ahead if you want a duck though, otherwise you’re looking at a 50 minute wait for your meal.
