The information above is wrong - we made a reservation only to turn up to find the place shuttered! The new location is in Sanlitun on Xingfucun Zhong Lu (just off Chunxiu Lu) opposite April Gourmet.
The new place is prettily decorated with a lot of Morrocan touches, but we found it a bit cramped - and the tables for two were much too small. The service is reasonable but at times rather slow. The host is a very gregarious guy who loves to chat to his customers.
I had the Berber Tagine, which was well flavoured but contained disappointingly little of the eggplant and pumpkin as promised by the menu. My friend had a tagine containing potato and chicken (I forget the exact name) which she found too oily and lacking in flavour for her taste.
The highlight for me would be the delicious, fluffy lemon cous-cous, and the fantastic Moro Salad - this was great value, more than enough for two to share and with the most delicious olives and juicy radishes I've ever tasted.
We ordered the dessert platter, which was lovely but each dessert was so tiny we didn't think it worth the price. So maybe next time we'll check out the cheese platter as recommended below.
