From a friend I learned that Lily came to Beijing with 300 kuai but no dreams to work in a restaurant three years ago. And three years later, she became an amazing hostess of an amazing restaurant.

However the sign is really not appealing at all, in contrast it makes me lose my interest a bit. "It's right there, large green sign with a pink flower on it, it's really obvious","what are you talking about you can't find it? It's right there". That's what I have been dealing all the time when I ask my friends to meet me there. Actually I had that problem too when I first went there with some friends who had never been there before. There are quite a few places with green signs nearby and they are basically all dry cleaners and groceries.

So far I have had everything there, from soup, salad, milk shake to Burrito, pizza, burger, pasta, lasaugne and a few different kinds of desserts. Have to say they are all great! Esp considering them at that price.

Lily herself is a very hardworking and chirpy person. The restaurant is not always packed but you can tell the delivery guys never stop walking in and out. She says the restaurant has deliveries to do till 3am basically every day.

I just heard from Lily that their thanksgiving dinner will be served at RMB 89 for adults and RMB 48 for kids. Which I believe is the lowest price for a thanksgiving ever here in Beijing.
