Ok, I'm not going to kid you. No one from the staff working at Ganges should actually be shot, and I really don't know much about indian cuisine. However, my mouth knows what's "Hao Chi" and Ganges is definitely "Bu (god damn!) Hao Chi!"

The service at Ganges is really world-class, the kind of quality you can only dream of getting at a place like Element Fresh. The problem with Ganges is everything that happens between the time that they set your table and take your order, but a bit before the actual moment you ask them to bring the check...

The food is moderately priced (100-140 pair) for a Beijing restaurant and, depending on which location you go to, the ambience is well worth the price of your meal. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure that if this place didn't serve food then it would easily be a five-star establishment.

Don't get me wrong, the food at Ganges is not AWFUL! The food at Ganges is just not very good, in my opinion. The restaurant is still a great place to bring a date, or work colleagues for an "exotic" meal without losing face or much money out of your wallet.

Go to Ganges, but don't expect anything more than an average to below-average dinner.

...Now how about those Ghostface tickets.
