Best Burger according to City Weekend readers? Pathetic to think the level of poor taste that is out there then. Fine, for a Sport's Bar I'll give it that for the type of decor they had. Not my scene usually, but it was what it was billed to be. As for the burger, even my 9 year old daughter thought it tasted no better than a big mac, and she was right. Shameful to know that this is what readers are ranking as the best of the city, when there are far superior options out there. Plus the service really lagged. Give it a miss.
Trust me, go to Rumi and have a burger. No one believes me when I tell them and they are all surprised to hear the suggestion, "Really, order a burger at Rumi?" But all who do are pleasantly surprised. Plus damn good fries and a zingly mustard vinigrette with salad greens. We've tried Let's, we've tried All Star, we've tried the burger at Piazza Italy- which is also a quality product, but Rumi always triumphs in the end. Plus, you can BYOB at no extra corkage fee! That alone is worth the visit!!
