From Bali to Beijing: Indonesian Food Festival at Conrad Beijing Until Sep 20
Not all of us can afford the time or flight to the palm-shaded shores of Bali, but luckily for us, we can at least get a taste of the island's colorful cuisine at Conrad Beijing's "Beijing Meets Bali" Indonesian Food Festival.
Two talented chefs from Conrad Bali, located on the beautiful coast of Nusa Dua, are bringing authentic recipes from Bali and around Indonesia for a limited edition lunch and dinner buffet (RMB 238 plus 15 percent service charge per person) at Conrad Beijing's beautiful Chapter restaurant, available until September 20.
Indulge in Indonesian favorites like serapah sampi, beef salad with Balinese spice and coconut milk, nasi goreng ikan teri, fried rice with dried fish and vegetables, babi bumbu wangen, braised pork in Bali spices, gado gado, mixed vegetables, boiled potato, eggs, fried tofu and peanut sauce. Those with a sweet tooth should be sure to grab a serving of dadar gulung, pandan crepes with coconut sugar.
