CBD and Finance Street Office Space Nearly Most Expensive in the World
A commercial real estate service firm, CBRE, has completed a study on office space prices around the world, with two of Beijing’s prime real estate areas taking third and fourth spot: Finance Street and the Central Business District (CBD), CBN News reports.
Asian cities’ office real estate markets accounted for seven out of ten most expensive, but London’s West End took the top spot: prime office space costs USD 273.63 per square foot each year. Beijing’s Finance Street office space costs USD 197.75 per square foot, while real estate in CBD goes for USD 183.39.
Shanghai's Pudong District is also on the list, in tenth place, with an average of USD 127.89 per square foot per year.
Beijing appears to be featuring prominently on surveys lately, as we discovered last week that Beijing was ranked as the fourth most romantic city in the world in the Time Out Global Dating Survey.
