Weibo Roundup: Boobs, Killers, Grannies and a Grass Mud Horse

Do you want ad space but are not too sure which medium to post it on? Why not try something that will be constantly ogled? A Weibo user by the name of “Lonely Little Fox” is renting out both of her breasts for ads and is charging RMB 2,000 for the privilege, which is a bargain if you ask me.

Here are her guidelines, you can comment or send a private message to purchase this space.

1. “I am only offering “Advertising on Breast” not my body”
2. “The size of my breast is 34C, is real and firm, no sag”
3. “Thanks for those who did care about me”.

Keep in mind, it started as a joke so take it with a pinch of salt. For all you know, this could be false advertising.

A murderer on the run was recently caught after 13 years because he was recognized on a dating show. Wu Gang sang during the ‘talent’ round and as luck would have it, an old colleague called in to report him. In 1998, when he worked in a bar, he killed his co-worker. In less deadly news, this fluffy little alpaca has been quite the centre of attention lately. It was being walked by its owner in Beijing when curious pedestrians took photos, and posted it onto Weibo and Mop. Hopefully you’ll bump into this cute camelid next time you’re in town.

We at TheBeijinger.com have something to confess. We recently found out from China Daily that a couple of the photos we used in our flood blog were faked. At the time we were racing against the clock to post updates and did not suspect anyone would have found time to forge them. It turns out that Weibo users did. We apologize for any upset, panic or distress we may have caused the reader. If it’s any consolation, we weren’t the only ones fooled.

Weibo has also been pushing more netizens to buy their fruit and veg from a certain little old lady at Madian Qiao on the North Third Ring Road. Her photo has been reposted over 50,000 times in hope that it will increase her business prospects. Whether it has worked or not has yet to be decided. She has three dreams in life. She wants a pair of glasses, a hearing aid and dentures. Let’s hope that she gets them.

Finally, trying for a child is difficult when you’ve not been taught about the birds and the bees. A well-educated couple from Hubei made an appointment with a doctor after three years of trying to conceive, only to tell him their “method” was to lie down on the bed together, side by side. And that’s about it.
