Scotland Referendum on Screen Around Beijing

Blood will flow and whisky will spill, or something like that. A huge moment looms in what still is the United Kingdom's history as Scots have taken to the polls to decide whether their cooler, wetter, more liberal land should continue as a part of that larger entity, or become a new, independent country.

A few venues around Beijing will be showing the referendum results live as they come. For the moment, The Den, The Local Bar and Grill, and Paddy O'Shea's will have TVs on tuned to channels that will have vote tallies as they become available.

We'll update throughout the afternoon as more venues come online and either the Unionist or Independence celebrations get underway.
