Prepare Your Beijing Club Hopping Route in Advance With This App

Beijing's nightclub scene has been saturated with good beats lately, but oh, how to pick them? It's cold, and deciding which side of Second Ring Road to plant your dancing shoes in any given night is a gamble. Heck, the cost of a single party may be enough to just stick with your own trusted iTunes playlist.

Bobamusic, an app developed by some of Beijing's main players in the city's music scene, may help you make more informed decisions next time you go out, according to a recent report in Techinasia. Get Bobamusic on your phone and you can listen to the latest DJ sets played in a Beijing club. The hope from the developers is that they'll be able to soon provide music previews to upcoming shows in a selected venues.

We don't know how this technology could pan out in a club like Dada, where the music genre changes weekly. But for Beijing newbies, we could see the value in deciding whether you're more of a Vics or a Mix type of person ahead of the game (kidding).
