All Kinds of Italian Specialties for Italian Cuisine Week

Mamma mia! Italian Cuisine in the World Week is back, which means from now until Nov 24, you can enjoy limited time offerings at some of Beijing’s best Italian eateries.

This year sees some specials from the likes of Bottega, abboCCa, Eatalia, plus new additions Lavazza and Bosco by TRB

Bottega and Forno are sticking to pizza and pasta respectively this year, with a particular focus on seafood. At Bottega, this takes the form of the Costa Mediterranea (RMB 108), a Neapolitan-style pizza that uses white sardines for the seafood element plus olives, capers, and stracciatella cheese on red sauce. Over at Forno, their offering is Linguine al Branzino (RMB 108), pairing linguine pasta strands with lemon and olive oil in a sea bass white ragu.

Meanwhile, abboCCa is also going on a trip to the sea with Polpo alla Luciana, octopus slow cooked in tomato sauce with capers and olives served with bread. Eatalia, on the other hand, is embracing the comfort of winter on land. Their Polenta Concina sees polenta cooked with two cheeses and topped with mushrooms and sausage, perfect for cold days.

There are many more offerings around Beijing, so check it out while you can and find out more via this post from the Italian Embassy in China.

If you're not able to make Italian Cuisine in the World Week, don't forget that the Beijinger's Cheesy Pizza Month will also be running from Nov 29 until Dec 30, so you've got another opportunity to enjoy one of Italy's many delights! Buon appetito!
