Universal Studios Resort

Set to reopen on Jun 25

It's time to restart the blockbuster fun. If you haven’t been to the Universal Studio yet, now is a good time to pay a visit. Not only does this place offer all kinds of rides including the thrilling decepticoaster and the classic Harry potter ride, you can also enjoy a hurricane of fun performances at the Waterworld Stunt show. Now that Universal Studio is finally back, why not head over there for some movie magic?

Wuling Xifeng Scenic Area

Reopened on Jun 23

Located along the picturesque Xinchengzi Town in Miyun county, this is an ideal place for a day trip if you are a water sports enthusiast. Go rafting and hiking along the trail and when you are tired, you can even set up your own tent and have a little barbecue party. Many visitors rave about the exciting rafting adventure and if you're looking for water fights to cool yourself down in summer, this is one place you want to put on your bucket list.

Yanqihu

Reopened on Jun 22

The CBD has exquisite restaurants and soaring skyscrapers. Sanlitun is great for shopping. But Yanqihu has an entire lake where you will be able to get a glimpse of the beautiful sunset. Here you’ll find plenty of outdoor activities including speedboats, log flume rides, rope sliding and more. You can even rent a bike and cycle around the lake to get an overview of the stunning scenery.

Beijing Garden Expo

Located on the bank of the Yongding River, the Beijing Garden Expo features five parks, the Traditional Exhibition Park, the Modern Exhibition Park, the Creative Exhibition Park, the International Exhibition Park and the Wetland Exhibition Park. It is also home to many of Beijing's important wetlands. It’s a great park to visit and spend a casual Saturday at.
