STOP THE PIZZA PRESSES! We Forgot an Important Pizza

Drop that slice! We forgot to add a topping...

We at the Beijinger pride ourselves on being Beijing’s number one authority on whose pizza is hot and whose is not, and that’s a task we don’t take lightly – but we are not infallible. Italian diner Frasca opened earlier this year and settled so nicely into the Opposite House in Sanlitun that their rotating gas oven-fired pies became an instant classic. Thus, when it came time to update our comprehensive list of every pizza in town, we didn’t think to add them, figuring such a swell place must already be on the list.

All of this is to say: we screwed up. As one of the best newbies to Beijing’s pizza scene, not only should have they been on the ballot, but they should have also appeared in our blog about the best newbies to Beijing’s pizza scene.

Naturally, we will be tacking them on to the ballot now, and for compensation for the late addition, we will grant them a vote tally equal to the average of the other new competitors.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t cast your ballot, you’d better get on that! You only have until Friday to vote in the initial round, and whether you plan on voting for Frasca or not, take solace in the knowledge that all major pizza outlets are included in the free and fair election.

Vote now by scanning this code in WeChat:

Oh, and don’t forget to grab your tickets to the Final Four Taste-Off! No matter who makes it to the final four, you’ll want to be in the room to make the decision on the best pizza in Beijing.
