Experience the holiday spirit this December at BEI Zhaolong Hotel's first annual Winter Wonderland event, created in cooperation with Trends Group. From Dec 12-15, BEI Zhaolong will be transformed into a seasonal wonderland complete with toasty mulled wine, tasty food stalls, artisanal shop vendors (for all your Christmas gifts), and so much more!

The festivities start from the outdoors where Harmay has created a modern, Instagrammable wintery landscape to celebrate their first offline store in Beijing. Then come into the hotel’s lofty three-story-high atrium where the winter festivities can continue in the warmth!

Look out for a series of exciting events and giveaways throughout the four-day period. Kicking off the season of giving, on Thursday, Dec 12, if you share your experiences at one of BEI Zhaolong’s vendors – e.g. Harmay, Koo Canteen, Mr. Handsome, M Fit Space, BEI Commune, REN Bar – on your Wechat moments, you will receive a voucher for free entry to BEI’s mulled wine party on the night of Dec 14. On your way in, pick up a “BEI Community Passport” at the entrance to get six stamps, and find the lucky draw box for your chance to get a set of cosmetics worth more than RMB 1,000 (runs Dec 12-15)!

Lights and music

On Friday, Dec 13, start your weekend on a high note with BEI Zhaolong’s Christmas lighting ceremony but don’t expect anything traditional. From 8pm onwards, head to the alley behind BEI Zhaolong to see a special multimedia light projection show with the theme of “Beijing Memories” and “Beijing Romance." No spoilers - come and watch it for yourself! But expect snowy scenes and also don't miss a unique neon blacklight performance by arts group Color ANTE.

Warm up and party on

On Saturday, Dec 14, try your luck on the world’s first “intelligent” interactive punching bag, created by start-up Padipata. Rack up 200 points in 60 seconds and you could win a prize from trendy gym M Fit Space. Then keep the energy going that evening at BEI’s mulled wine party in The White Box on the third floor. Sign up in advance (see QR code below) and get a free glass of wine on entry.

Shop 'til you drop

Finally, Sunday, Dec 15 is the final day to shop around the 40+ craft stalls. This is the day to stock up on Christmas gifts, and your last chance to pick up a “BEI Community Passport” and get your (practically) free cosmetics gift.

This is also a great opportunity to explore the newly renovated BEI Zhaolong Hotel. Explore the permanent artworks and rotational exhibits, the open-to-public spaces such as the gym and the co-working spaces, and all the great food and drink options under one roof!
