Migas Mercado Balcony Summer Kick Off Party
Migas celebrates what is arguably the biggest night of their year: the annual balcony kick-off party. This year, things get extra wild with a circus-themed party complete with tent, clowns, face painting, drinks, and animals (don't worry, that's you). Ludo V., Yauma, and Djando are tasked with keeping things lively while it's up to you to dig out your best circus suit. Can't make it Friday? The fun continues with round two on Saturday courtesy of Cad 73. Free. 10pm-3am. Migas Mercado
Jayda G
Vancouver-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Jayda G (pictured at top) pitches her sets somewhere between soul, funk, soul, deep house, and happy-go-lucky Chicago, getting crowds moving without bumming them out. As the promoters put it: "she knows how to bring love, empathy, and humanity back to the club experience." Also on the feel-good bill are DJs Darcy, Slowcook, and Kenkeni. Price TBA. 10pm doors. Zhao Dai
Arnaud Rebotini x Silencio
French singer, songwriter, and producer Arnaud Rebotini was raised on classical but bonded to metal and noise before dabbling in decidedly upbeat dance rock via his band Black Strobe (and its accompanying label). Not one to settle, Rebotini has since gotten bored with sitting behind his laptop producing bands and is dusting off his analog techno gear, which he'll lug to Lantern for this one-off show. RMB 80, RMB 50 (advance). 10pm doors. Lantern
One-Hit Wonders Party
First it was '90s, now its one-hit wonders. Mosto continue on their mission for throwback domination by spinning the tracks you thought you'd left behind when you hopped on the slow boat to China. Happy hour drinks will be flowing for RMB 40 a pop, which should go some way to getting you teary-eyed with nostalgia. Free. 9pm-late. Mosto

Arjun Vagale
Both a pioneering hero in India and a globetrotting renegade who has performed in such legendary places like Tresor, Verboten, and Paradiso, Arjun Vagale’s dedication to beat craft is hard to match in this day and age. Simply put: the dude makes world-class techno music that is intense, driven, innovative, and ever-evolving. Read our recent interview with the man himself right here. RMB 100. 10pm doors. Lantern
DJ Okapi
Bossman of Johannesburg's record label and shop Afro-Synth, DJ Okapi specializes in digging up rare vinyl from around the city, helping to "bring a forgotten era of South African pop music back to life... specifically the synth-fueled 80s disco-funk known as 'bubblegum' and the unique house-inspired kwaito grooves of the early '90s." RMB 60. 10pm doors. Dada
Throwback "Old School Party"
Don't fancy Mosto's one-hit wonder party? How about a dose of the old school from Prague Restaurant. DJ DaiQuiri will be spinning the best hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, and afrobeat of the '70s, '80s, and '90s with a sprinkle of "early millennial rhythms!" Come dressed in old school cool and stand a chance to win a bottle of (undefined) booze. RMB 50 (includes one drink). 6-10pm. Prague Restaurant
