Not only is it insane, it's also misleading––the statistics I mean. It may have been just now that 5 million were bought and registered, but I know lots of people who simply rented cars for months at a time last year when they couldn't buy them. Rented them for great prices, actually. I'm guessing plenty of people did that, and the formerly stagnant rental car industry is booming; meaning that there were probably 5 million driving around long before last week.
It's just plain insane. When are we going to change these 5 million mini-pollution factories into environmental friendly transportation by replacing their engine with electric ones? When are we going to forbid the use of cars with one only person inside? A one year postpone is just plain ridiculous and useless.
My observations: The new waitress is smiling, service minded and talks fluent English. The food is delicious, real Persian and still at lower price range.
This is a very small thing, but I just hope they can improve the quality of their "Torshi" (traditional veggie pickle). The real good "Torshi", that I love and miss, has to be crispy

This time we also tried their fish which is served with rice cooked with different kind of herbs. I can warmly recommend it.
Expats avoid Korean fashion because it is:
1. too frilly
2. overpriced
3. too small
This new store "reappropriates" Korean fashion for expats, but the products in the store are:
1. mostly tacky
2. mostly overpriced
3. probably too small since the sizing wasn't mentioned.
Forgive my confusion, but how exactly is this store store an improvement???
Nata you are a braver man than me. I try to avoid conflict because I usually end up angrier than the other person, even if I "win." But yeah, gifting seats upsets me. Some people sit down in one seat, then share the seat with one or two other people. They seem to think that they have claimed the space and that space can be allocated in any way they want.
Lots of you knew that the correct answer was Peggy Wang. Well done to Jasmin Ong for winning the tickets. Look out for more JUE Festival ticket giveaways coming soon.
Dear TheBeijinger.com,
since November was our soft-opening month, we reckon we had something missing.
The good news is that we are since december serving authentic Italian food, mostly of the recurrent customers are Italian nationals.
Plus, the comment is from a man, that's rare! The only time I saw a guy expressing an intense interest in yarns was when I opened my hardcover Knitting Lingerie Style pattern book...
What I find especially funny is that you actually knew it was crocheting. You may be the first person I've met here who's seen someone crocheting and not called it knitting.
You know, this is something I wish more people would pay attention to. I've seen people give up their seats for someone, and when that person gets off they don't give the seat back to the original person.

Re: Five Million Cars and Counting
We just need to teach the owners how to drive now
