We’ve uncovered a diverse array of concerts and festivals that promise to provide a refreshing escape from Beijing’s summer heat. From high-energy outdoor events to indoor shows, Beijing's summer concert calendar offers some interesting choices for music lovers.

Dark Horse Season: MaSiWei Tour
MaSiWei is the leader of Higher Brothers, a rap group praised by The New York Times as a breakthrough point in the Chinese Hip-Hop world. According to liftedasia.com, MaSiWei is ranked as the 16th best rapper in Asia. His hit song “Made in China” not only has an astounding 26 million views on YouTube, but the song has also received some recognition from the Migos, Playboy Carti, Lil Yachty, and Kyle, who are all very big-time rappers in the US. Now that’s a big deal. Come listen to MaSiWei and see what he’s about.

Peter Somuah Plays Blue Note
Peter Somuah is a gifted Ghanian-British jazz trumpeter who learned to play by endlessly listening to his heroes like Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and more. Somuah is known for his melodic sound and rhythmic prowess, for which he has won a number of accolades like the Erasmus and Edison Jazz Awards.

Bruno Major Asia Tour
Bruno Major is an up-and-coming artist who has been making waves in the indie/alternative R&B scene over the past several years. Hailing from London, England, Bruno first gained recognition in 2017 with the release of his debut album "A Song for Every Moon."

EDC China 2024
Have you seen the lineup of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in China this summer? I’m sure it’ll blow your mind if you haven’t. This year's EDC is an electrical music carnival with big time DJs all over the place, like Marshmello, DJ Isaac, and the Chainsmokers, who will surely steal the show with their electrifying songs. This year’s EDC in China is something you sure can’t miss.

Summer Sonic Bangkok 2024
Summer Sonic will be making its debut in Thailand this summer. They’ve recently released the first wave of their 2024 roster, which is shaping up to be one of the most diverse and talented yet. Laufey, an Icelandic indie-pop rising star, will take the stage with her beautiful melodies, while Nothing but Thieves, a high-energy British rock band, will undoubtedly get the audience going.
