On the Radar: Swing 58 Reopens, Plus New Italian and More
A few things on our radar in the world of food and drink as of late, from reopenings to new dining around Chaoyang.
Swing 58
Swing 58, one of the bars situated along the original Sanlitun Dirty Bar Street, has found a new home west of Taikooli North on Xindong Lu. Despite the new digs it looks as if Swing 58 has kept the spirit of the old location alive for the most part.

Alla Goccia
Italian restaurants in the capital are pretty much a dime a dozen at this point, and while this spot tends to steer towards what you’d expect at many other Italian eateries here, this one is nice for the fact that (a) it’s got a nice view of the Liangma River, not too far away from the terrace that looks like a boat, (b) it’s got a few nice bites on the menu that – when paired with that nice view of the Liangma – would make for a great aperitivo.
