The festival will showcase over 160 films from 93 countries and regions, with 15 shortlisted for the Tiantan Award. The Beijing Film Panorama will be one of the most widely anticipated sections, screening films of different themes, styles, and countries in 27 cinemas and theaters. All in-person activities, including over 300 events, will resume, conveying confidence in the Chinese film industry's recovery.

Explore the creativity of Chinese contemporary Art: The Beijing Contemporary Art Expo, themed “Reunion” opens at the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall in Beijing this month, featuring an unprecedented scale of 154 exhibitors, the largest art fair in China so far, according to China.org. The 2023 Beijing Tulip Cultural Festival Showcases Rare Varieties: The 2023 Beijing Tulip Cultural Festival kicked off on Apr 4 at the Beijing International Flower Port, reports China Green Times. On the largest scale the event has ever been, it features six exhibition areas, covering over 180,000 square meters of tulips and more than 150 varieties on display. Additionally, there are over 3 million bulbous flowers, such as hyacinths, daffodils, and ornamental onions. The festival runs until May 8 and includes six scenic spots, each showcasing rare and peculiar tulip varieties.

International Sellers Showcase Future Manufacturing Tech in Beijing: The 18th China International Machine Tool Exhibition is set to take place in Beijing from Apr 10-15, with a total exhibition area of 140,000 square meters, according to China Daily. The theme of this year's event is "integrated innovation, digital intelligence and future". About 1,600 machine tool industry companies from 28 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition. All overseas machine tools for the exhibition, including a 14.7-ton machine from Japan, have completed customs supervision and arrived at the venue. This event is an important platform to showcase the world's advanced manufacturing technology, promote technological exchanges, and foster business cooperation between China and foreign countries.
