Busy Holiday: A Few Things to Do Today in Beijing, Oct 5

The Golden Week has arrived, and to keep you busy from Oct 1 to Oct 7, we’ve compiled daily lists of some of the most interesting events to be found around the capital for the holiday.


Temples and Cafés in Xicheng

Xicheng isn’t a place you’d normally think of going to, but it’s got a great number of temples that are worth checking out, including the Five Pagodas Temple near the Beijing Zoo, Baita Temple, and the Temple of Ancient Monarchs. Martin Margiela at M Woods

M Woods Longfusi is hosting the first Asia exhibition of artist and fashion designer Martin Margiela. Come prepared for an exploration into color, shadow, emptiness of space and an exploration into the concepts of time, aging, color and more.

Martin Margiela at M Woods runs until Dec 4. Tickets are RMB 88 for single and RMB 198 for double and can be purchased via the M Woods WeChat mini program (search 木木美术馆 in WeChat).
