The space is furnished with dark wood, and leather upholstered chairs that hearken back to the good old days of the 1950s era America, making customers feel like as if they are Marilyn Monroe getting her hair curled.

Foreign friendly, maybe. But do they marginalize the hair-impaired? I am talking about what you hirsute racists call the bald. THe last time I went to a barber he like could not handle my gleaming dome. He could not get me out of the chair quickly enough. Barely made a few perfunctory passes with the clippers. I'm like excuse me, excuse me?! Does my bare dome bother you? My genes erased my hair, but YOU are not going to erase ME! I identify as hairy and I want a shearing. When I look down at that floor there better be clippings ankle deep. Because that's right, you bigot: even bald people need perms with rollers.

Go visit a shoeshine boy. (are there still shoeshine boys?) he'll know what to do. Wax and polish, 十块, throw in a garland of laurel, and you'll be fit for the Roman senate.

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I went to the Tony Studio (Liangmaqiao Branch) 东田造型 (北京亮马桥官舍店)today Smile I was a little nervous because my Chinese is bad and I have naturally thin dark blonde hair. The staff was super friendly and skilled. I had really outgrown bleached hair that they fixed and got bangs, exactly how I wanted. It was a truly great experience and would definitely also recommend!
