Day 2 of Burger Fest: The Meaty Odyssey Continues
The space burger odyssey continued onto its second day at Langyuan (Space) Station, blasting off into deep space and taking visiting astronauts' and aliens' tastebuds on an out-of-this-world adventure with the help of beef, buns, and all kinds of fixings.
Remember, tickets are always available at the gate for day 3 (today, Sep 21) , so be sure to join us on the final day for more of the capital's finest finger food.
- Please note, however, that we've had to make some adjustments for the remainder of the fest in order to ensure safety and comply with authorities. The festival will go on to completion, of course, but here are some updates you should be aware of:
- Masks MUST be worn when not eating or drinking.
- There are two ways to handle this: either put the mask back on when you're done eating or drinking, or simply DON'T stop eating and drinking!!! (After all, this is what food festivals are all about).
- Please keep your mask on your ears so you can put it back on when your mouth is not in action.
- There is a capacity limit for the venue, set by authorities. Once that capacity is reached, we will need to hold new entries until some of the guests inside leave. Priority will be given to early bird ticket holders.
- Online tickets are no longer available but we will have tickets at the door. Early bird tickets (no matter what the date) will be honored on all days.
- We have been required to stop letting guests in at 7pm. The party will continue inside until the regular closing time of 8pm.
- Due to noise complaints, to prevent overcrowding and due to regulatory requirements, we've had to cancel stage performances.
Other than that, it's GAME ON! We're doing our best to assure a safe and entertaining festival in a challenging environment. It’s very hard to predict how authorities might react so please bear with us.
For this final day of Burger Fest... come early to beat the crowds. Yesterday, lines to get in started forming at around 12.30pm-1pm, with the wait being 30-40 minutes to get in until 4.30pm. We'd recommend coming before 11am so you don't have to wait in line, but if you can't make it that early, try to be there before noon.
The next best time (shortest possible wait time) would be after 5pm, but this is only a guess! Today could be totally different thanks to the nicer weather.
We thank you for your patience, and before you head over today, check out some of the memories made at Burger Fest yesterday:
