More Park Closures, Subway Lines Adjustments Next Two Days
Information has continued to roll in about how anniversary celebrations over the next couple of days will affect your daily commute, and possibly your weekday outing plans to boot.
In addition to other major landmarks and destinations being closed until after the celebrations – as we reported here and here – we now know that a few more parks will be closed in whole or in part on Jul 1:
Chaoyang park will be closed from 6am to noon on Jul 1.
Beihai park will not issue tickets through the Changyou ticketing platform for entrance on Jul 1 and any tickets already purchased for that day can be refunded.
Jingshan Park will not issue tickets through the Changyou ticketing platform for entrance on Jul 1 and any tickets already purchased for that day can be refunded.
Zhongshan Park is closed from now through Jul 1 and will reopen to the public on Jul 2.
A number of subway stations will also be affected on Jun 30 and Jul 1.
Wednesday, Jun 30
Line 1
Tiananmen West and East stations will be closed after 5pm.
Hepingmen and Chongwenmen stations will be closed after 8.30pm.
Line 3
Qianmen station will be closed after 7.30pm.
Hepingmen and Chongwenmen stations will be closed after 8.30pm.
Daxing Line
Xidan station will be closed after 8.30pm.
Line 5
Dongdan and Chongwenmen stations will be closed after 8.30pm.
Thursday, Jul 1
Line 1
Trains on this line will not depart until 6.30am.
Wukesong station and all stations from Xidan to Sihuiyouan Dongqu will cease operation until 11.30am.
Xidan, Tiananmen East and West, Wangfujing, and Dongdan stations will be closed until a time yet to be specified.
Line 2
Trains on this line will not depart until 6.30am.
Chegongzhuang, Jishuitan, Yonghegond, and Jianguomen stations will be closed until 11.30am.
Qianmen, Hepingmen, and Chongwenmen stations will be closed until a time yet to be specified.
Daxing Line
Trains on this line will not depart until 6.30am.
Gongyixiqiao station will be closed until 11.30am.
Yuanmingyuan and Qingyuan Lu stations will be closed until noon.
Xidan station will be closed until a time yet to be specified.
Line 5
Trains on this line will not depart until 6.30am.
Songjiazhuan, Temple of Heaven East Gate, and Yonghegong stations will be closed until 11.30am.
Huixinxijiekou Beikou and Tiantongyuan Bei stations will be closed until noon.
Congwenmen and Dongdan stations will be closed until a time yet to be specified.
Line 6
Pinganli. Dongsi, and Chaoyangmen stations will be closed until at 6.30am.
Chegongzhuang station will be closed until 11.30am.
Line 7
Ciqikou and Caishikou stations will be closed until at 6.30am.
Line 8
Gulou Dajie station will be closed until at 6.30am.
Line 9
Military Museum and National Museum stations will be closed until 6.30am.
Line 10
Gongzhufen, Haidian Huangzhuang, Huixinxijie Nankou, and Jiaomen Xi stations will be closed until at 6.30am.
Guomao and Songjiazhuan stations will be closed until 11.30am.
Line 13
Lishuiqiao, will be closed until 6.30am.
Transfers to line 2 and 4 between Xizhimen station and transfers to line 2 between Dongzhimen station will be closed until at 6.30am.
Line 14
Beijing Nan and Puhuangyu stations will be closed until 6.30am.
Dawanglu station will be closed until 11.30am.
Line 15
Datunlu Dong station will be closed until at 6.30am.
Line 16
Xiyuan and National Library stations will be closed until at 6.30am.
Batong Line
Sihui station will be closed until 11.30am.
Transfers to line 1 between Sihuidong station will be closed until 11.30am.
Yizhuang Line
Transfers to line 5 between Songjiazhuang station will be closed until 11.30am.
Capital Airport Express
Transfers between Dongzhimen station and Line 2 will be closed until 6.30am.
