Burger Fest Kicks Off TOMORROW: How to Get to Wangjing Walk for Burger Fest 2020

A young boy who doesn't fit in, turned local hero after being bitten by a radioactive spider; a billionaire weapons manufacturer who turns a new leaf after a taste of his own medicine; a fry cook who’s granted burgerlicous powers after a freak grease-fire explosion. Superhero stories are about renewal, so its only appropriate that a very super Burger Fest would have an all new location – and we mean new!

Until recently, the street that became Wangjing Walk (not to be confused with Wangjing Soho) was but a traffic-jammed road; a fender bender waiting to happen. But now that it’s been converted into a pedestrian paradise, it’s prime pickins’ for the 10th annual Burger Fest, presented by the Beijinger and JSS Delivery.

Obviously, this fest is taking place in the latter part of what’s been a tough year, but we’re making up for lost time. This year, the fest will start on Friday, Sep 18, and go through 'til Sunday, Sep 20. A few early-bird tix are still available for RMB 25 (includes a superhero mask!) but don’t forget that you can always buy tickets AT THE GATE for RMB 30.

But just how do you get to this beautiful boardwalk for Beijing’s most badass Burger bacchanalia?

If Didi is your way, simply type in 望京小街 or “wangjingxiaojie” as your destination, and be sure to ask your driver to drop you off at the south end of the street (请在路南侧停车 Qǐng zài lù nán cè tíngchē). Note: you will NOT be able to enter through the north entrance.

By subway, hop on Line 14, head to 望京南站 Wangjing South Station, and exit through Entrance A. Take a left out of the station, hang a left at the light, and yet another left at the next intersection. Finally,t right at Dunkin Donuts/Wumart and find the entrance to Burger Fest about half way down. Take a look at the map below for clarity.

Now you're all set to devour burgers till sundown (and then some!).
