Our Watch Has Ended: Where to Catch the Last Ever 'Game of Thrones' Episode in Beijing

It's finally here. The final episode of Game of Thrones will air on Monday, May 20. It's been eight long years since the first episode aired and now we'll finally learn how the game will end. There will be death and tears and blood, and probably a lot of pissed-off fans, but no matter what else, it's definitely going to be entertaining.

Here's where you can catch the last ever episode of the HBO fantasy epic in Beijing:

Monday, May 20

9am (live) and 9pmQueenie's Sandwiches
Queenie's are going all out for the finale, getting you fired up for the Monday episode by showing all previous episodes of season 8 on Sunday from 11am onward, climaxing in the final episode live at 9am and again at 9pm on Monday. To go out with a bang they'll also have specially themed Fire'N'Ice drinks, including White Walker Milkshake (with or without alcohol) and spicy Mother Of Coffee to help you stay fueled while you watch. But wait, there's more! In preparation for the withdrawal we'll all be suffering from come the following week, QS will ease the pain with a showing of the HBO Documentary Game of Thrones: The Last Watch on Monday, May 27.

9am (live) and 9pm: Caravan
On Monday night, Caravan throws a blow-out 'Many Faced Fan' Game of Thrones viewing party. Get your costumes ready, because the door price (includes a drink) is RMB 30 if you come in GoT regalia, otherwise, it's RMB 50. To get you in the mood, band The Sounds of the Seven will also be playing favorite tracks from the series, and music inspired by the series throughout the night. 

9am (live), 8pm and 10pm: The Bookworm
The Bookworm is screening the last episode not once, not twice, but three times on Monday. Be sure to reserve your ticket (RMB 20) in advance, as spots are limited. Don't worry, the booking price goes towards a meal or a drink. 

8pm: The Local
The Local will be screening the episode on all of their many screens Monday evening. Add WeChat ID: localKenn to reserve a table (which will be held until 7.30pm) but good luck, because The Local has been getting packed out in advance with close to 200 people every week. If you do manage to score a table, be sure to respect the no-spoilers rule, and (pro tip) don't order a frozen drink if you don't want to hear the blenders firing up at a critical moment! 

8pm: Paddy O'Sheas
Head down to Paddy's both Monday and Tuesday nights at 8pm, to watch the final episode with both English and Chinese subtitles. There will be all the usual tasty grub, plus free shots for people who come in costumes. 

8.30pm: Soi Baochao
Soi Baochao is showing the final episode on their big screen with free popcorn thrown in to boot.

8.30pm: Anchor 2.0
Anchor 2.0 will be screening the final episode at 8.30pm on their 180-inch screen.

9pm: The Great Outdoors
As per their custom, the Fangjia Hutong favorite will be showing the previous week's episode before the big event. As last week's episode was 80-minutes long, there will be a slight overlap, so they'll be showing that on the downstairs screens at 8pm, and starting the new episode at 9pm upstairs. Choose your spot wisely!

9pm: 3 Little Pigs
In honor of the final episode, 3 Little Pigs are opening early for dinner (from 5pm) and serving up special Dragon's Breath spicy burgers for RMB 60. The episode will screen at 9pm. Add Andy at WeChat ID: andy706588 to reserve a spot.

9pmSide Street
Side Street celebrates the final ever episode with a two special DJ sets before and after the screening to get you in the mood, and potentially soothe you after whatever the hell happens at the end. Channel your inner Daenerys with their RMB 10 fireball shots throughout, but be aware, it's going to be busy, and tables will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

9.30pm: Q Mex Taqueria
Munch on half-price burritos (if you're not too excited to eat) and RMB 45 margaritas while you watch the final episode at the Q Mex Taqueria location.

Tuesday, May 21

8pm: Paddy O'Sheas
Yep, Paddy's are doubling up the screenings, so if you missed it on Monday or just wanna revel in the gore and glory again, you can catch the episode at 8pm on Tuesday evening. It'll be screened with both English and Chinese subtitles, and if you come in costume you'll be eligible for free shots.   

Tue, 8.30pm onwards: 4corners
On Tuesday, 4corners will hold their last ever Game of Thrones viewing party and trivia night. As per usual, the quiz will begin at 8.30pm, to be followed by the episode at 10.30pm. There will be drink specials all night.

And that, my friends, will be that.
