Intercultural Communication: Business, Education and Entrepreneurship Forum
The Russian Student Association (RSA) organized this discussion on intercultural communication in business, education, and entrepreneurship. They'll also weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of working abroad and the challenges they faced while jobs seeking. Mobility for Africa: Pilot Students Experience Sharing
Alumni students from Tsinghua University will speak about their experiences in working on "mobility for Africa" projects. The forum aims to shed light on local projects that have stimulated new opportunities and also improved the quality of life in poorer African communities. This pilot event will center around discussing potential off-grid community-based renewable electric transport solutions that are affordable, environmentally friendly, and efficient. Free. 2.30pm. Trumped: The Future of China-US Rivalry
This event, organized by thinkINchina, will address ongoing economic issues between the US and China. Professor Shi Yinhong, director of international relations at the Center on American Studies at Renmin University, will head the discussion, tackling possible means in which the two superpowers may come to trade agreements in the future. Clever Mobility and Services for a Better Life
Organized by Czech car manufacturer Skoda and Beijing-based "global incubator" Innoway, this weekend-long hackathon will focus on improving mobility services and travel solutions. Teams will take part in designing innovative means to improve city mobility, with an opportunity to win RMB 10,000. It's also a chance to make business connections, meet mentors, and access future job opportunities. RMB 50. 8.30am-7pm. Innoway
