A Li Hua Retrospective

"Last Train Home" Chinese Film Night and Discussion
Camera Stylo holds one of their regular film nights and discussions this Wednesday, this time selecting Fan Lixin's Last Train Home, a documentary detailing the journey that 130 million Chinese migrant workers make every year during Spring Festival. On hand to talk about the mass migration will be China Daily's Camilla Tenn as well as anthropology and film studies graduate and Deep Focus films executive Xu Jiahan. 7.30pm Camera Stylo

Accordionist Wang Jiangguo
Listen to something a little different this Thursday in the form of accordion player, composer, and conductor Wang Jiangguo. A graduate of the Xi’an Conservatory of Music, Wang mixes elements of folk music into his classical compositions. 9.30pm. RMB 60, RMB 50 (advance). Jianghu Bar
