Fritz Helder (pictured above)
Be prepared for a night of house and dance beats when Fritz Helder comes to Beijing, the Canadian lyricist and performance artist is not one to shy away from pushing the boundaries of electronic dance and house music. Formerly of Azari & III and long-term choreographer for Nelly Furtado, Helder has released his debut solo project titled Force of Nature so you know what to expect from him live. Planet Giegling
Electronic music labels/collective Giegling leaves Germany to head out on a world tour with a full crew of musicians, creative technicians and artists in tow. DJ Krush
One of the turntable masters and producers, Japanese DJ Krush is known for his atmospheric beats, often melding field recordings of nature with a neverding collection of jazz and soul samples. This weekend he takes his spot at the upmarket Blue Note Beijing for a more subdued two nights of beats. Feb 24-25, 9pm. RMB 380. Blue Note Beijing
Zedd
Grammy award-winning record producer, DJ, musician, and multi-instrumentalist, Anton Zaslavski or Zedd will be playing at Sir Teen this Friday. Best known for his songs "Clarity" and "Break Free," you can dance the night away to his eclectic mix of electro house music, progressive house, dubstep, and classical music. RMB 280. 10pm. Sir Teen

Mardi Gras
Dusk Dawn Club brings a slice of New Orleans to Beijing with their Mardi Gras celebration, guaranteeing a night of live music, dancing and revelry. Two of Beijing's hottest bands, Stevie Mac & The Mac Daddies and The Hunters, will be playing some of your favourite contemporary hits with good old funk, soul and rock classics mixed in too. Jozef K
Jozef K comes to Dada with the Minimalist Crew for a night of house and techno music. Following another massively successful year, releasing new music, appearing on and mixing live for BBC Radio 1.
