Mojito

Mojito is a band that's been shaking up the music scene as a well-established Latin band in China and abroad. The musicians forming the group are known for delivering a wide array of music styles, spanning from Latin Jazz and fusion to the infectious beats of the Caribbean like reggaetón, kizomba, to well-known Latino American favorites like bachata, salsa, merengue and cha cha cha, among others. With great energy and amazing vibes, they will bring the most authentic Latin and Caribbean flavor to the fest.

TroVanda

TroVanda specializes in an authentic mixture of Caribbean and Latin American styles of music. The ensemble combines traditional and modern sounds, the beauty of Spanish lyrics, and enchanting rhythms that will transport you to La Habana. Formed in Beijing in 2018, TroVanda is a unique ensemble comprised of talented musicians hailing from diverse backgrounds, including Venezuela and Cuba. This rich blend of cultures and influences infuses their music with a one-of-a-kind flavor that resonates deeply with audiences.

The ensemble is led by Eduardo Barroetabena, the musical director and master percussionist, accompanied by Redis Cobas, a virtuoso on keys and vocals, and Baltazar "Fido", a talented bassist and vocalist. Their repertoire includes a variety of genres: bolero, canción, salsa guaracha, changüí, bachata, and cumbia, to name a few. With Trovanda, you'll experience not just a performance but a cultural exchange through music, where the fusion of Cuban roots and the eclectic influences of Beijing come together in harmony.

EMA Salsa

Now, we couldn’t have Taco Fest without some Latin American dance thrown in! Everyone's favorite salsa teacher, Ema, will be showing off her amazing moves and getting everyone up on their feet and dancing.  An ambassador of Latin American cultural communication, Ema has been promoting Latin American culture and music through dance for 21 years. She has worked with many Latin American embassies here in China and has taught thousands of students over the years.

LTN

Closing out the fest on Saturday is LTN (Latin Fire). Founded in the summer of 2024, LTN was born with a clear mission: to deliver unforgettable Latin experiences through music, dance, and vibrant cultural events. Based in Beijing, they specialize in curating high-energy parties and dynamic performances that showcase the richness and diversity of Latin rhythms.

Their events are a fusion of traditional and contemporary Latin sounds, blending reggaetón, salsa, bachata, merengue, and Latin house with immersive experiences that keep the energy high all night long. They've become known for their electrifying parties, like the iconic Barrio Fino series, which have drawn massive crowds and created unforgettable memories.

鱼头泡饼 by TRUST

Finishing the fest with a bang on Sunday is the music ganghood DJ duo 鱼头泡饼 (PANCAKELEE + MARIO YU), who are a gem in the electronic music scene, blending 20 years of expertise with cultural roots and modern beats. Since co-founding TRUST in 2017, they've organized major festivals, boosting the genre's popularity in China.
