Teen Movies at Institut Français this Month

Ah, teenagers. God love 'em, with their Snapchats and selfies. Ever since James Dean's Rebel Without a Cause, the adolescent hormone-crazed rollercoaster ride towards adulthood has proven to be perfect fodder for filmmakers.

If you’re like me, you’ve probably seen plenty of English-language films about that special time in our lives when we’re blindly groping at establishing identity, individuality, and a sense of one's importance in the world.

But there’s a whole other oeuvre out there of the French variety that maybe you haven’t seen yet. This month the Institut Français have got you covered with a whole line-up of classic and contemporary French films about teens.
