Plastered 8 Temporarily Expands East: Pop-Up Store in East's Domain Through August

Plastered 8, one of Beijing's most iconic foreigner-run brands for over 10 years, has opened a pop-up store at East Hotel's Domain for the entire month of August.

The brand was started by Dominic Johnson-Hill (read one of our interviews with him here) and currently has two outlets, one in 798 and one on Nanluogu Xiang. Plastered 8 has seen a lot of creative collaborations with other Beijing brands such as Temple Restaurant Beijing and Vogmask, and also recently launched two T-shirts in unison with London-based brand Terratag.

When asked about the T-shirt's style, Johnson-Hill told us, "Terratag’s super bright characters are a perfect complement to Plastered’s playful, iconic aesthetic and we’re excited to introduce these collaborative designs to Beijing."

The pop-up store will sell some of their latest T-shirt designs along with bags, recycled bags, umbrellas, socks, hats, pins, and their book What Do Men Think About Besides Sex.

The store at Domain is open daily from 10am-6pm.
