EAT: The Dirty Duck Pub Launches Curry Nights, New Avocado Tree Location at Topwin Center, the Beijinger 2nd International Foodie Weekend

The Dirty Duck Pub is launching their curry night this week (Jul 27), which, according to tradition in the United Kingdom, happens to be a Wednesday. During the pub's curry nights you'll be able to get a curry and a pint for only RMB 100. Their curry menu is put together exclusively with the help of Gireesh from Punjabi Indian, which also includes set menus that come with side dishes and extras that the pub promises to tantalize even the most avid of curry connoisseurs.

This week, proceeds from curry night will go to a loyal customer and good friend Claire Courtney who was recently suddenly hospitalized and has been left with shocking and mounting medical bills. Read our review of the Dirty Duck here before heading over and showing your support by filling up.

In other news, Avocado Tree has opened a new branch in the Sanlitun's newest mall, the Topwin Center, which, although not as big as the Liangmaqiao location, has added a host of new items to their menu. For example, there are five new types of bagels (RMB 10-24) available as well as Greek yogurt, expanding their breakfast and lunch options.
