Performances to Catch in Early 2016 if You’re Into the Ballet

So we might not be getting any many top music acts through our city's stages, but if you're into ballet there are a bunch of incredible shows to catch in Beijing, and at beautiful venues. Below are the best shows over the next few months:

January 8-10

Swan Lake by Russian State Ballet
The Russian State Ballet, a classical company based at the Krasnoyark State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Russia were founded in 1978 by graduates of the choreographic schools of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg. The Nutcracker by the Russian State Ballet
The Russian State Ballet is also performing The Nutcracker, a two-act ballet originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanoc. National Ballet of China Triple Bill
The National Ballet of China is China's only national ballet company, incorporating dancers and musicians who graduated from professional dance academies and music conservatories across China. Tickets available on Damai. 7.30pm. NCPA. RMB 100-600

Russian National Ballet Theatre: Swan Lake
