Kanpai!: Taste 100 Different Sakes at Sake Manzo's 2015 Sake Carnival, Sep 19

Don't know your daiginjo from your junmai-ginjo? If that sentence makes absolutely no sense to you, but you enjoy drinking sake, then you might want to head to Sake Manzo's 2015 Sake Carnival on Saturday, September 19, 11am-3pm.

The biggest sake-tasting event of its kind ever held in Beijing, owner of Sake Manzo and International Wine Challenge sake judge Taka Yamamoto is bringing more than 100 kinds of sake for the event, which will also include talks from Japanese sake producers about the different types of sake and the correct way to consume them. 

The 100 types of sake will be provided by boutique sake collection, Tojikura, among which will be exclusive bottles never-before-seen in Beijing, as well as the 2013 International Wine Challenge Champion Sake, Daiginjo Gokujo Kitaya 2012.

Advance tickets are available for RMB 100 at Sake Manzo and Happi Sake, or alternatively for RMB 150 on the door. Tickets include tastings of all the sakes and five different Japanese-inspired snacks (just in case you need something to soak up all that booze).
