June 11: Gulou Double Decker Vol. 5
Get over to Gulou’s craziest monthly series of destructive rock and mental electronic music from Dada courtesy of pangbianr and Temple with Live Beijing Music. This edition at Temple will feature some dangerous sounds from Dong Dong Dong, the demonic sample divinations of Dizzy Di, the guitar and keyboard duo Sealed Jar, and the return of electro pop queen Jia Huizhen. Meanwhile, Dada brings forth the synth mastery of Mark Dwinell (Forma), School Girl Report, Kipp the Menace, and the Nasty Wizard Cult. Free. 10pm. Temple/Dada
 

June 12: Street Kids Present: Roska
Join the Beijing originators of street flavored musical madness as they present Roska, a modern master of swung house percussion, blocky funktastic melodies and body-battering bass. If you know anything about Street Kids, it should be they throw some of the most mad parties in Beijing and you would have to be an absolute fool or recluse to not want to swing with this Beijing institution. June 13: Paulaner Bräuhaus Beijing Celebrates 5,000,000 Liters of Beer
Paulaner celebrates the best jubilee since their opening in 1992, featuring its chefs’ beer inspired special menu, a Paulaner Celebration Raffle and weekday beer prices as they were 20 years ago, and all will happen during the year’s most terrific season. Free. 11am. Paulaner Brauhaus

 

June 13: Great Wall Party 2015
The annual Great Wall Music Messtival returns (win tickets here!), bringing a bunch of people to China's favorite barrier in order to run around, dance, and be fabulous. The event will be split into two stages the Main Stage and the Syndicate Stage, the former playing host to Azat, Chozie, Danny Flora, El-Mar, Hamoudeh, Mike Hotten, Mint, Pancake Li, Patrick Yu, and Suki, whereas the latter sees Blackie, Kay C, Donkey Tonk, Oshi, Yauman, Bloodzboi, and Puzzy Stack spinning their stuff that is sure to rattle the foundations of this two-thousand plus year-old landmark.
