Tickets on Sale June 3 for Mosto-Hatsune Collaboration Nikkei

June is looking like a pretty good month in terms of dining pop-ups and collaborations. We've blogged about the upcoming Jing-A Brewing taproom takeover by Japanese restaurant Hagaki and now we're very excited to introduce another never-before-seen (or expected for that matter) collaboration: Mosto and Hatsune.

For two nights only on June 17 and 18, Mosto's Chef Daniel Urdaneta and Hatsune's Alan Wong will team up to create a very special dining concept called Nikkei. But what is Nikkei you ask? In the organizer's own words:

"Using Japanese techniques with Peruvian ingredients, Nikkei is a century-old cooking style. A cuisine that is very much part of the mainstream diet in Peru, this cuisine originates from the Japanese diaspora living in Peru who started incorporating the fantastic produce of Peru, from Pacific fish and seafood to the high altitude vegetables of the Andes, and the fruit of the Amazon. The Japanese revolutionized ceviche by using raw seafood, which has since transformed into the Peruvian national dish."

The dinners will be held on the fourth floor terrace of Nali Patio, which should make for a very pleasant alfresco experience.

Tickets will go on sale June 3, but you better act fast if you want to grab a spot there will be only 20 seats available per evening. Email anna@mostobj.com to book.
