Free Cake with Lily's American Diner for Its Fifth Birthday on May 30

Lily's American Diner (LAD) turns a big-ol' five this May, and wants to share its joyous birthday with their loyal customers! This is why, on Saturday May 30, all three locations are offering complimentary / free / mianfei cake to everyone who comes by to eat. Who says no to free cake? Not us, we'll see you there.

LAD's three locations are based in Sanlitun, Sihui, and Shuangjing and are all family friendly as well as perfect to take a bunch of friends anytime of the day. Items on the menu are tasty and inexpensive.

Last time we visited we had Ross' Mum's Wrap (RMB 49), which is filled to the brim with feta, parmesan cheese, LAD's own Ceasar dressing, lettuce, and a choice of either chicken or shrimp. You guessed it, the recipe is Ross' Mum's. We may not know who she is, but we would like to thank her for bringing such a delicious wrap to Beijing. We also tried Joe's Pulled Pork Sandwich (RMB 58), named after one of the owners, and it is one tasty pulled pork sandwich, served with a generous portion of fries.

And if you can't make it on May 30, but do want to try their noms, they also offer delivery until 11.30pm.
