See Great White Sharks at UCCA Sunday Afternoon
See fish at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) on Sunday. Big fish. Like sharks. And other things that aren't sharks but still swim, like whales, dolphins, and even polar bears.
Israeli photographer Amos Nachoum has captured the deadly smile of a great white shark and the peaceful slumber of a polar bear. He’s swam with hammerheads in Bimini and whale sharks off Darwin Island. He dares to photograph wildlife without any protective measures and has witnessed countless moments of wonder in his twenty years of underwater exploration.
UCCA has invited Nachoum to share his unique practice of photography and some of his intimate encounters with world’s most mysterious creatures. A diver and underwater photographer for over 35 years, Amos operates Big Animals, a tour company designed to put people in front of ... yeah.
