Good Heavens: California Metalheads Deafheaven to Play Beijing May 9
One for disciples of the dark side: San Francisco black metal quintet Deafheaven look set to perform at Yugong Yishan on May 9 according to a story on Pitchfork.
The Asian leg of a world tour will see them take in Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia before dates in Beijing and Shanghai. They then whisk their way to Japan for four further dates.
Their latest album, Sunbather, garnered very generous reviews and their track "Dream House" (embedded below) was named #92 in Rolling Stone's top 100 tracks of 2013.
