MOMA Post Mountain Festival Lineup Announced

Details of the upcoming MOMA Post Mountain Music-Art Festival have been released. A lengthy month-long program sees no fewer than 15 international artists descend on Beijing for the cultural extravaganza.

The Xiuyan Shadow Puppet Theater kicks off the festivities with three nights of performances starting October 3.

Other highlights include a performance from the critically-acclaimed jew's harpist and calabash flutist Wang Li.


Cambodian dance troupe Soul of Khmer is also scheduled to perform at the Xiangheyuan Lu venue. Other dance acts include Indonesia's Yogyakarta Dance Group.

India's The Baul of Bengal (who counts Bob Dylan among his many collaborators) performs on October 22 with his Minstrels of the 21st Century band.

Dutch quartet Gatecrash Band bring down the curtain on the eclectic festival on November 11.
